Still have questions?

Here are some that are frequently asked.

Where are you located?

I started Jessica Isner Photography in 2012 based in Charleston, West Virginia. In May 2017, my family relocated to Jackson County where we now call home.  My in-home studio is located less than 3 miles from the Ripley exit, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Charleston. My studio is a pet free, smoke free and germ free zone (if anyone in my home is sick, we will reschedule or I will refer you to a colleague).

Do you only photograph babies or do you photograph families, seniors or special events?

When I began my photography business, I took on many different types of sessions. Over time, I have realized my passion and greatest skill is photographing maternity through first year. I occasionally will accept senior sessions ($318 for 20 digital images 2 hours of shoot time) and family sessions (booked at full and mini session prices), as my schedule allows. I do not photograph weddings and special events at this time. I do offer special mini sessions throughout the year (Spring, Back to School, Christmas, etc) that families can take advantage of.

What is the typical turnaround time to receive my images?

Most clients receive their edited images within 2 weeks of selection.

Can I just have all of the images unedited?

I do not give unedited images to clients. My digital images are captured in RAW format which requires special software to view. RAW files require editing to brighten and sharpen to be print ready. I take great pride in my work and want images to be reflective of my standards and style. You may purchase edited images for $10, or less depending on how many are purchased.

Are you willing to travel for sessions?

I have small children which makes traveling great distances difficult at this time. I am willing to make occasional road trips for Fresh 48 and milestone sessions for package clients up to 30 miles. While most of my newborn sessions take place in my studio in Ripley, some clients opt for in-home sessions to capture the nursery and details of the early moments in their environment.

Do I have to pay all of my package cost up front?

Absolutely not. You may pay as you go.
